Here we go again continued

Right people i do apologize i can become side tracked quite easily... but now i finally have the game design under way. as i mentioned before the game is a spiritual successor to helping hands, my university project. visually it is going to be very similar to the game in terms of its bright and dynamic coloring's and also it is aimed at a very similar age group.

the story follows Colly Bob the hedgehog, who after lazing about for most of the summer has realized that winter is approaching and he has yet to gain the proper food that he will need through the cold months. this is where the player comes in. the player will navigate Colly through the levels to find food.

The game is aimed at the same age range audience as Helpin Hands was so you are looking at 5+. The player must move Colly through the levels using the directional key until you come across a stop point. Stop points can be situated of three different things one can be Colly has found food, another can be that he has run into one of his two friends.. the first being Red the Fox, and the second character being Old Nana Owl.

Colly-Bob The Hedgehog!
Colly-Bob is a carefree, playful Hedgehog, who has spent most of the summer lazing about and having a good time. Now winter is approaching and he needs your help to gather the food that he needs to keep his tummy full over the cold harsh winter.

Red The Fox!
Red the Fox is a very cunning Fox, and always likes to think he knows best. Red isn't a nasty Fox though and he loves to see how smart the other animals are. Red will ask the player questions about simple maths, and if the player gets the correct answer he will reward them with some of his food. Red will pop up quite often during the game to offer the player the chance to collect the right amount of food. Although he is not the only one who will do so. the second character that will offer Colly assistance is Old Nana Owl.

Old Nana Owl!
Old Nana Owl is the God mother of the forest, she is by far the most caring animal there, as she looks out for the others. Nana Owl will happily share her food with the forest animals, but she rewards the observant, after all she is an Owl, and has exceptionally good eye sight. so if you can answer he color based questions she will give you even more food.

full documentation to come later and shall be uploading some background concepts and hedgehog concepts very shortly.. this is not the end i promise , no more 6 month breaks. peace!!!!
